Before & After

I got this antique red chair from my grandmother a few years ago and while I lived with the red velvet fabric and smelliness for quite some time I figured when we moved into a new place it was time for a makeover...

And this is the after... new fabric... a little white paint... and its glam... Harley likes it too! My first try at the whole upholstery thing. I know its not perfect but I think it works... and I'm pretty proud  of it.

Feeling Gray...

Its been a bit cloudy, chilly, and "rainy" looking in Cali this weekend. And although, it usually doesn't rain, I found myself searching for a cute umbrella... in case it does rain... oh I think I see the sun peeking out!

PS... I wrote this Sunday morning... and once I posted it this evening... I spent the whole day enjoying the sunshine... the umbrellas are still super cute though!
